Mansfield Plumbing Products will be closing its Perrysville plant at the end of the year. The company, which makes bathroom products, such as sinks, toilets and bathtubs, made the official announcement on Monday, saying the closure will affect 277 workers. According to company officials, Mansfield Plumbing’s distribution center and customer service operations in Ashland will remain open, as will its bathtub manufacturing facility in Texas. Transition packages will be offered to the affected employees, including severance pay and health insurance.
