A Massillon man is set to spend five years behind bars after leading law enforcement on a high speed chase through parts of Wayne and Stark Counties in November. 43 year-old Walter Ferryman was sentenced to five years behind bars Wednesday in Wayne County Common Pleas Court. Ferryman was arrested November 25th after fleeing from police, as well as hitting a deputy’s cruiser during the pursuit that ended in Massillon but began in Dalton. Ferryman could spend an extra two years in jail depending on his behavior.
