Meals on Wheels of Northeast Ohio wants its 2,000 plus clients in Wayne, Stark and Summit Counties to know, that despite the fear surrounding the coronavirus, it will continue its mission to deliver meals to homebound individuals. Meals on Wheels officials say they’ll be continue to deliver frozen meals in Summit County and hot and frozen meals in Wayne and Stark Counties. They’ve also ordered a 10-day supply of shelf-stable foods for all clients, should the state require them to shutdown their kitchen. In the event that that does happen, Meals on Wheels would provide its clients with those meals every 10 days until the current crisis has passed.
