The Medina County Commissioners recently awarded $1.5 million in grant money to local businesses to help them stay afloat during the coronavirus pandemic. The money was made available through the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security Act, and will be dispersed to 281 small businesses throughout Medina County. The 281 businesses were selected out of 461 applications that were turned in for the grant money. Commissioners say the money should be dispersed by the end of September, with the max amount of grant money being given out being $10,000.
