The Medina County Sheriff’s Office has identified the Liverpool Township man who drowned over the weekend after falling through ice on a pond near his home. According to the Sheriff’s Office, 64-year-old Keith Hearn drowned over the weekend after trying to save his dog, who had wandered out onto the pond, were Hearn fell through. The Wayne County dive team was called out to the scene to assist in a search shortly after 3:00 p.m. Saturday, and located Hearn at about 6:00 p.m. The Medina County Sheriff’ Office reminding residents to remain diligent when venturing out onto any ice.
