Medina County teacher accused of sexual conduct with student

In Medina County, a teacher at Highland High School has been arrested for allegedly engaging in sexual conduct with a student.  Kyle Brooks, of Akron, was taken into custody yesterday and charged with a single count of sexual battery.  Additional charges could still be filed though, as the case remains under investigation.  Brooks is being held in the Medina County Jail, as he awaits his initial arraignment hearing.  The district, which has suspended Brooks from all of his teaching duties, says it will continue to fully cooperate with the Medina County Sheriff’s Office.
