The Medina man charged with identity theft for impersonating a missing Illinois boy, will appear in Federal Court in Cincinnati next week. 24 year-old Brian Michael Rini will appear in U.S. District court next Wednesday on charges of aggravated identity theft and lying to FBI officers, which stem from Rini lying about being a missing boy from Aurora, Illinois in April. A jury trial in the case was postponed in June until a competency test was completed. Rini was found competent to stand trial in October. If convicted he could face up to eight years in prison.
