A Medina man is in custody following a high-speed chase on I-71 in Medina County during the early morning hours Wednesday. According to the Medina Post of the Highway Patrol, troopers attempted to stop a man driving a 2018 Alfa Romero on 71 in the area of State Route 3. The driver refused to stop, leading police on a high-speed chase that ended in Brunswick when the driver attempted to leave the highway while still speeding and crashed and flipped. The driver was identified as 33-year-old Craig Bohl of Medina. Bohl was quickly removed from the vehicle and taken to an area hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. Bohl was then taken to the Medina County Jail on multiple charges including OVI, fleeing from troopers and possession of a controlled substance.
