A motorcycle accident Sunday in Huron County claimed the life of a Medina man. According to the Highway Patrol, the crash took place on State Route 18, just before 1am. 55-year old Raymond Orbas’ bike went off the left side of the road while he was attempting to go around a curve. The patrol says neither drugs nor alcohol are believed to be factors in the crash, but that Orbas, who died after being taken to a hospital in Norwalk, was not wearing a helmet. The crash remains under investigation.
