Residents in Medina will be able to get some relief from the summertime heat starting Monday when the city’s Memorial Pool opens. Beginning on Monday the pool will open, with two daily sessions, the first from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and the other from 3-6 p.m. with a deep sanitization and cleaning in between. The pool will also be limited to a 75 person capacity, once that number is reached people will be turned away, with admission being $5 for each session. While Memorial pool will open, the splash pads at Fred Greenwood and Ray Mellert Parks will remain closed, but will be reevaluated on Tuesday.
