A basketball court in Holmes County has been renamed to honor the memory of former West Holmes District Superintendent Aaron Kaufman, who died last July. A ribbon cutting dedication ceremony was held on Friday at the Holmes County Training Center in Holmesville for the new Aaron Kaufman Memorial Basketball Court. Holmes County Board of Development Disabilities Superintendent Marianne Mader said additional contributions, including playground equipment and construction costs, were made possible by the Holmes County Association of Handicapped Citizens and several community members. The court and playground is free and open to the public.
