The Mennonite Disaster Service and the local outreach group Disaster Aid Ohio recently partnered together to build ten homes for those impacted by tornados last Spring. On Friday, October 15th and Saturday, October 16th, the two organizations were joined by a group of volunteers in Millersburg, who helped build ten homes over a two day period. Two of the homes will be heading to West Virginia, while the remaining eight homes will be sent to Montgomery County near Dayton. The MDS was founded in 1950 and has a mission to help those affected by disaster through home repair and construction, clean up services, and service acts.
