Council members in Millersburg are considering whether or not to use smart lights in an effort to ease traffic congestion in the village. During council’s most recent meeting, the village’s mayor wanted to know what could be done to change the times on the traffic lights, while Village Administrator Nate Troyer said changing the timing of the signals requires an engineer’s proposal and the approval of ODOT. Following the meeting, Troyer said he’ll reach out and contact ODOT about the village’s concerns.
