Millersburg council hears first proposal for sidewalk plan

Millersburg Village Council heard for the first time the proposal for adding more sidewalks to Millersburg Elementary as part of the Safe Routes to School program. Kevin Buettner, who is with the Ohio Mid-Easter Governments Association presented the initial plan to council that would see additional sidewalks added to get kids to Millersburg Elementary safer. The new funding cycle for the project opens in January and they can apply for up to $400,000, with no local match needed.
