In Millersburg, village officials have decided to throw out more than three dozen speeding tickets that were issued this summer.  Village Solicitor Bob Hines explained to council this week that a posted speed limit of 25 mph on Clay Street was incorrect, and that the speed limit is actually 35 mph.  According to Hines, the sign posting the 25 mph limit was meant to let motorists know the speed limit is 25 on Washington Street, and not South Clay.  Council members say they believe the speed limit on Clay Street should be 25 mph, but the village would need to have a traffic study done before it can legally change it.
