The Cleveland Cavaliers fell to the Denver Nuggets at home on Thursday night by a final score of 115-109, marking the team’s second consecutive loss in the first game back since the All-Star break.

For Cleveland (38-24), forward Evan Mobley led all scorers with 31 points and nine rebounds, while guards Donovan Mitchell and Darius Garland both had 22-point performances. Center Jarrett Allen recorded another double-double as well, scoring 14 points and grabbing 13 rebounds.

For Denver (42-18), forward Michael Porter Jr. led the team with 25 points with six made three-pointers, while reigning MVP center Nikola Jokic posted another triple-double with 24 points, 18 rebounds and 13 assists. Guard Kentavious Caldwell-Pope scored 17 points, guard Jamal Murray scored 16 points with nine assists, and forward Jeff Green scored 11 points off the bench.

The Cavaliers will next be on the road to take on the Atlanta Hawks on Friday, February 24th, with tip-off set for 7:30 p.m.
