More information has been released regarding the gas-like small that has permeated the air in Wooster this week.  The smell, which was first reported on Monday, and was still very noticeable as of yesterday, originated from Quala, a company on Industrial Boulavard.  According to the city of Wooster, the smell, which was not hazardous, was the result of Quala converting a load of pipeline fluid from a liquid to a solid so that it could be taken to a landfill.  The city cited Quala for creating a public nuisance, while the company said it will be making changes to its procedures to prevent this from happening again.
