Wednesday marked the first time in more than two months that Ohio reported more than 1,000 new cases of the coronavirus.  Prior to yesterday, the last time more than 1,000 cases were reported in a single day was back on April 20th.  The state’s total number of confirmed and probable cases now stands at 52,865.  However, despite the increase in overall cases, the Ohio Department of Health says that coronavirus deaths, hospitalizations and ICU admissions were all down on Wednesday.
