Thanks to the efforts of the Mental Health and Recovery Board of Wayne and Holmes Counties, two local organizations will receive more than $700,000 in capital funding.  The money, which is part of a $20 million state initiative to provide middle and high school students with more positive learning opportunities, is being awarded to the Wayne Center for the Arts and Rittman Schools.  The Orrville Boys and Girls Club is also hoping for a share the funding, although its grant application is still pending.
