The mother and brother of a Wooster girl who was recently found dead outside of Cincinnati have been arrested in Virginia. Authorities say that 43-year-old Toni Thompson and 21-year-old Cameron Vanbrunt were taken into custody after failing to return to the Wayne County Jail to continue serving their drug-related sentences. The two were granted permission to attend the funeral for 15-year-old Emma Roberts. Roberts’ body was discovered on February 22nd in Hamilton County’s Colerain Township. The cause of death is unknown at this time. Roberts was living in southern Ohio at a group home for teens, but was still in the custody of Wayne County Children’s Services at the time of her death.
