The 9th annual Music and Ribfest is taking place this weekend at the Wayne County Fairgrounds. The event is presented by Friends of the Wayne County Fair, WQKT, and Quota of Wayne County. Gates open on Friday at 4pm and Saturday at 11am. Admission and parking are free.  The Friday night cornhole tournament, sponsored by HER Relators, will start at 6:00 pm with registration ending at 5:45. The goldfish races are a new event this year is sponsored by Farmers National Bank. Goldfish will be auctioned off Saturday at 3:30pm and races beginning at 4:00. Participants will race against each other using a straw to blow their fish down a water chute until a winner is crowned.

The golf ball drop, Hog Wild Fun Zone, rib judging, and the Biq Q raffle are back. Golf ball raffle tickets are $5 with event taking place around 6:30 on Saturday, first place winner gets $1,000.  Big Q raffle tickets are $20 with raffle drawing around 7:45 on Saturday. Winner gets a choice of $10,000, a 2-year Ecosport car lease or a 2022 Uforce Side By Side utility vehicle.
