After 11 tornado warnings were issued across the region yesterday, meteorologists are now working to see if any twisters actually touched down.  The National Weather Service office in Cleveland is sending people out today to survey the damage to see if it can confirm any of the tornados.  The NWS will put together all of its information, from radar to notes, and combine that with tips it gets from weather spotters, news stations and safety officials.  Weather service officials will then visit locations and see if the damage is consistent with what a tornado would have done.  Locally, the National Weather Service says a tornado was observed in Rittman, but again, it has yet to be confirmed.
