The National Women’s Christian Temperance Union is continuing to commemorate its 150th anniversary. The three-day celebration began yesterday and will run through tomorrow in Berlin. The WCTU is the world’s oldest women’s organization and has a history of educating people on the harmful effects of alcohol and other drugs. The celebration features a number of events, including a silent auction showcasing rare WCTU items, as well as the unveiling of the WCTU history quilt.
