Nearly 50 animals were removed from a home in Ashland over the weekend. The Ashland County Sheriff’s Office and Ashland County Human Society removed 63 cats and ten dogs from the property after the owner surrendered the animals. The animals are being checked at the Claremont Ave Vet Clinic and then are being taken to the Ashland County West Holmes Career Center, where students will help to take care of them. Once the animals are cleared for health and spayed or neutered they will go up for adoption.
