A 46-year old man from New Philadelphia is facing charges of assault and fleeing the scene of an accident following an incident last week at West Holmes High School.  According to the Holmes County Sheriff’s Office, the man was at a freshman football game last Thursday when he attacked two other spectators, including a 72-year old man, who he punched in the face.  On top of that, the suspect then struck another man with his vehicle as that man tried to keep him from leaving the school’s parking lot.  Following his arraignment on Friday, the man was released on a $50,000 bond.
