Construction work continues near Dalton on a new science center for kids.  Once it is finished, the Wayne County Children’s S.T.E.A.M Playlab will feature exhibits such as a dino dig, an art and music center and even a NASA space room.  The 30,000 square-foot center, billed as a mini COSI, is being built off of U.S. Route 30, just west of Das Dutch Kitchen.  Funds are still being sought for the project’s $7 million capital campaign.  As of right now, the goal is to open the center sometime next fall.
