No injuries were reported this week when a backhoe fell into the basement of a home that was being demolished in downtown Wooster.  Crews were working on tearing down two buildings on South Buckeye Street Tuesday when the backhoe, which was clearing debris by pushing it into one of the home’s basements, went a little too far and fell in itself.  Despite being delayed until a tow truck could come in and pull the backhoe out of the hole yesterday morning, the city says work is expected to be completed by the end of the week.
