The Northwestern Local School Board accepted the resignation of their elementary principal. Elementary School Principal Joey Brightbill is stepping down to take a position as the Principal at Lake Local Schools in Stark County. Brightbill said the reason for the switch is that it is closer to home for him to take the job with the Lake Local Schools. The school board also approved contracts for High School Principal Randall Hafner and High School Assistant Principal an Athletic Director Anita Jorney-Gifford.
