Construction of the new Harmony Park at Norwayne Elementary is now complete. According to the school district, work on the permanent outdoor musical instrument collection was completed earlier this month. The park, which is located near the school’s playground, features a number of different instruments, including six-foot tall chimes and five kinds of drums. The goal of the park is to give students, at both recess and in music class, a multi-sensory experience. Grants and donations covered the majority of the project’s $19,000 price tag.
