A man from Maple Heights is facing aggravated murder charges for allegedly killing an Orrville woman.  Police in Orrville were called out yesterday afternoon, at around 4:30pm, to a home in the 200 block of Chateau Circle.  When they arrived, officers found 33-year old Kenneth Crenshaw holding a pistol and standing over the body of an unconscious woman.  Officers say Crenshaw ignored multiple commands to drop his weapon and repeatedly shouted “shoot me”.  At that point, officers opened fire, hitting Crenshaw in the right arm.  He was taken to Aultman Orrville Hospital, where he was treated for non-life threatening injuries, and then transferred to the Wayne County Jail.  Crenshaw’s victim, identified as Jadea Jarvis, was also taken to Aultman Orrville, where she later passed away from her wounds.  The three officers involved in the shooting have all been placed on administrative leave.  An external investigation of the shooting is already underway.
