The Loudonville Police Department is no longer investigating the officer-involved shooting over the weekend that left one man dead.  Since the shooting involved multiple officers from several different agencies, the case has been turned over to the Ohio Attorney General’s Office, which oversees the state’s bureau of criminal investigation.  Officers fatally shot the man Saturday night after he led them on a car chase and then got out of his vehicle holding a handgun.  State officials say it could take months before the investigation is complete.
