Dorothy Pelanda, Director of the Ohio Department of Agriculture, was recently in Wooster, where she met with local ag leaders.  Pelanda talked with local farmers about a number of different issues, including milk prices, inflation and the current cost of farmland.  While in town, Pelanda also presented Ron Grosjean with the Ohio Fair Managers Association’s annual award for outstanding volunteer.  Grosjean is an active farmer in the area, who also serves as president of the organization that operates Wooster’s Buckeye Agricultural Museum and Education Center.
