The Ohio Department of Agriculture is sponsoring three upcoming collection events for farmers wishing to dispose of unwanted pesticides, including one locally, in Holmes County. The collection and disposal event will take place on Thursday, August 15th at the Mount Hope Produce Auction, on State Route 241. The pesticide collection and disposal services are free of charge, but only farm chemicals will be accepted. Paint, antifreeze, solvents and household or non-farm pesticides will not be accepted.
