Authorities continue to investigate a two-vehicle accident in Chippewa Township that claimed the life of an 83-year old man from Wadsworth. The crash took place Monday afternoon, at the intersection of State Route 21 and Grill Road. According to the Highway Patrol, Robert Sours was riding in a car that was southbound on 21 that struck another vehicle, which had failed to yield at the intersection’s stop sign. Sours was taken to Akron City Hospital, but passed away from his injuries early Tuesday morning. Both drivers involved in the crash suffered non-life threatening injuries. The Highway Patrol says alcohol may have been a factor in the crash.
