One person is dead and another injured following a one vehicle accident over the weekend in Medina County’s Liverpool Township. The crash took place Saturday afternoon on Lester Road when a 55-year old Medina woman’s vehicle went off the roadway and struck a fire hydrant. The driver was seriously injured, while her passenger was pronounced at the scene. Police have identified the victim as 67-year old John Rife, of Medina. The crash remains under investigation.
