The State Highway Patrol says that one person was seriously injured following an accident involving an Amish buggy and a car Saturday evening in Ashland County.   The crash occurred around 6:10 PM on state Route 96 near Township Road 1353. Authorities say that the car and buggy were both traveling westbound on State Route 96, as the car apparently crashed into the buggy from behind. Both the buggy and car received extensive damage. The operator of the buggy was taken to a nearby hospital, where there condition is unknown at this time. Both the 34-year-old female driver of the car along with her passenger were not injured. The crash remains under investigation.
