The Orrville Area United Way has approved this year’s grant allocations, which total more than half a million dollars. After getting the green light from the organization’s board of directors, checks were distributed to partner agencies earlier this month. The money will fund programs in the Dalton, Marshallville and Orrville area this year, including 12 nonprofits, 18 programs and six of the United Way’s Percy Programs. In addition to those allocated funds, the United Way says it will also be making six special $5,000 grants available in May.
