The Orrville Area United Way is offering a free tax program to qualifying people, called the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program.

The VITA program is offering free tax assistance to tax payers who make less than $56,000 or less annually, are persons with disabilities, the elderly and those who are limited English speaking.

Electronic basic income tax preparation will be offered by certified IRS volunteers at the United Way’s office on N. Main St. from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Feb. 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th and March 7th, and will also be offered from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Feb. 11th and 25th.
