Council members in Orrville are considering regulations for tattooing and body piercing shops in the city’s downtown area.  The topic was brought up at Monday night’s city council meeting by Genesis Beauty Salons, which is looking to add microblading to its services.  Microblading is a semi-permanent eyebrow process that under Ohio Health Department regulations is technically considered a tattoo.  The salon’s request will be reviewed by the city’s planning commission and then go through a third reading before council makes its final decision.  Council says it also plans on holding a public hearing on the matter as well.
