Orrville couple accused of murdering 81-year old plead not guilty

Ricky Ball and Stephanie Marks, the Orrville couple accused of killing 81-year old Edwin Eberle, were arraigned this week in Wayne County Common Pleas Court.  Both pleaded not guilty to multiple counts, including aggravated murder and aggravated robbery.  The pair was arrested earlier this month after authorities discovered Eberle’s body inside Ball’s home, just a couple of days after he had been reported missing.  Ball, who could face the death penalty if convicted, remains jailed on $1 million bond, while Marks’ bond is set at half a million dollars.  Both are due back in court on November 18^th for pretrial hearings.
