An Orrville couple has been sentenced for their respective roles in the death of an 81-year old man last fall. Sentencing took place in Wayne County Common Pleas Court for 54-year old Ricky Ball and 46-year old Stephanie Marks. The pair was arrested last October after the body of Edwin Eberle was discovered in their home, one day after his family had reported him missing. Ball was given 25 years to life for aggravated murder, while Marks was sentenced to 10 and a half years in prison for involuntary manslaughter and aggravated robbery. According to police, Marks, who was an acquaintance of Eberle’s, stole his wallet and then watched as Ball murdered him.
