Orrville couple to stand trial next spring for death of elderly man

Trial dates have been set for the Orrville couple accused of killing 81-year old Edwin Eberle.  54-year old Ricky Ball and 46-year old Stephanie Marks are each scheduled to stand trial in March on charges of aggravated murder and aggravated robbery.  The two were arrested last month when the body of Eberle was discovered in Ball’s home, one day after family members had reported him missing.  According to police, Marks, who was an acquaintance of Eberle’s, stole his wallet and then watched as Ball strangled him.
