The City of Orrville is moving forward with plans for a skate park. Council this week approved for the construction of the skate park, which will be located of Ella Street where the city dog park is currently located. The dog park will be moved just to the north and have a sperate entrance. The cost for the new park is estimated at $250,000 with the funds coming from multiple sources that include capital money, grants and local donations. The hope is to have the project completed by early summer.
