The Orrville Area United Way and the Orrville Area Chamber of Commerce hosted their first ever Day of Caring yesterday. Despite the rain and cold weather, more than 150 people showed up at Orr Park for the inaugural event. Volunteers worked on cleaning up the city by do things like painting and weeding flower beds. The United Way’s executive director says the hope is to make the Day of Caring an annual event.
