Orrville man identified as drowning victim at Portage Lakes

An Orrville man died this week at a state park in Akron.  Summit County Authorities were called out to Portage Lakes Park on Tuesday afternoon after 30-year old Corey Jones went missing in the park’s swimming area.  Rescuers found Jones in the water and rushed him to a nearby hospital, but he was pronounced dead about two hours later.  His death remains under investigation.
