This week’s city council meeting in Orrville featured Mayor Dave Handwerk’s annual state of the city address. Handwerk talked about some of the things that the city was able to accomplish last year, such as opening up a splash pad and getting new restrooms at Orr Park. Handwerk also mentioned the strength of the city’s economy in 2022. On top of another expansion at the J.M. Smucker Company, last year saw several new businesses open, including Dunkin’ Donuts and Anytime Fitness.
