Council members in Orrville have agreed to raise the minimum wage rate for the city’s seasonal and part-time employees.  At its meeting this week, council voted to increase part-time and seasonal minimum wage to up to 80% of the starting rate for the city’s entry-level labor positions.  According to Orrville’s human resources manager, the city has had a hard time hiring seasonal or part-time help for the past couple of years.  The last time the city raised its minimum wage rate was back in 2008.
