The Orrville City School District’s board of education got together on Thursday, where members talked about whether or not they should continue to pray at the beginning of their meetings.  The board’s long-standing tradition of saying a Christian prayer to open its meetings came under fire last month by a national organization that promotes the separation of church and state.  While no official action was taken at yesterday’s meeting, the board said it may consider having a moment of silence instead of a prayer at its next session.
