The city of Orrville is looking to acquire 22 acres of land so that construction can continue on a portion of the Rails to Trails of Wayne County project. The city says buying the land, which is located in Orrville’s industrial park, is a key to completing Rails to Trails, and would help connect Orrville to Clinton. City council members will need to negotiate with the owners of the property, as a price tag for the land has not yet been finalized. The city is hoping that an agreement can be reached which would include some of the land being donated.
