The City of Orrville will soon be purchasing a new fire truck, replacing a 36 year old truck in the process. The City authorized the purchase of a 2020 Pierce Arrow Engine XT, which will cost just over $586,000. It will replace the 1984 Peirce Engine X that is currently in use at Station 2 on Crown Hill Road. The city expects the new engine to be delivered in December, with it being put into full use in the first quarter of next year.
